Upstream Market: Ended by the close on October 18, light crude oil futures delivered by November increased 1.96 dollars to 88.34 dollars in New York Commodity Exchange; the increasing rate was 2.27%.
PTA: PTA price had a great fall today in overseas market. Taiwan cargo is quoted 1210-1215 dollars/ton on market and the downstream bidding price was around 1200-1205 dollars/ton. The practical discussions are around 1210 dollars/ton. The Korean cargo is quoted 1190 dollars/ton, while its downstream bidding price is around 1180 dollars/ton and the practical discussions are around 1185 dollars/ton.
PSF: PSF market is still weak and declining in East China. 1.4D*38mm direct spinning polyester staple fiber is quoted 12700-12800 Yuan/ton from the leading manufacturers.
PET Bottle Chips: Trading atmosphere of the polyester bottle chips is weak in domestic market today. Leading manufacturers quoted 12600-12650 Yuan/ton by cash. The downstream bidding price was around 12500 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 12500-12600 Yuan/ton by cash and without delivery.
