The '2007 Silk Road International Clothing and Accessories Culture Festival', which seeks bold changes, has successfully integrated multiculturalism and the cooperation between economy and trade this year.

This year's event attracted the largest number of participants among the six sessions held in the capital. The fashion feast received nearly 1,000 Chinese and foreign guests and businessmen. The business transactions made here were worth 68.5 million yuan.

On July 28, two weeks after the festival, Urumqi city Government organized a review meeting on the cultural festival. City Mayor hoped that next year's event will be better than the previous one.
