As you may have also known, Turkey is a growing market in nonwovens industry. Nonwoven investments have been moving to this region by the effect of lower cost prices. Recently, even conventional textile producers have been using some part of their factories for nonwoven production. Increasing investments in Turkey and neighbourhood countries led us to organize Hightex 2005 which was the first Nonwoven and Technical Textiles. The exportations of Turkish companies to abroad were the evident signs of this activity within the market.
All important companies in Turkish nonwoven market took place at Hightex 2005. Not only Turkish companies but also world's leading producers participated at the first and the only nonwovens and technical textiles exhibition of the Middle East and the Balkans.

Especially from the Middle East, where nonwoven investments have been increasing rapidly, it’s proved that there will be a considerable attention to Hightex 2007. Middle Eastern investors have been shoving interest to this exhibition since it’s being hard for them to go to the fairs in Europe because of the high costs, long distances and troubles in visa processes.
At Hightex 2007 the 3rd International Technical Textiles Congress, which was organized in cooperation with Dokuz Eylul University Textile Engineering Department at Hightex 2005, will be organized . Academicians from several universities of the world and industrialists will come together at this event and share information regarding innovations in technical textiles.
